Some pets are more comfortable being cared for at home. Bronson Vet offers home visits for pets who may benefit from being seen in their own environment, including pets who become stressed when travelling, have mobility difficulties or are difficult to transport safely.

Home visits may also be suitable for senior pets, multi-pet households and pets receiving ongoing or end-of-life care. Being seen at home can provide a calmer environment for some pets and allows our vet to assess them in their usual surroundings.

What Can Be Done During a Home Visit?

During a home visit, our veterinarian can perform a general health assessment, discuss any concerns and provide advice about your pet's ongoing care. Depending on your pet's needs, some treatments and assessments can also be performed at home.

A home visit can be particularly useful when assessing your pet's comfort, mobility and day-to-day environment. This can help us better understand their needs and develop an appropriate care plan.

When a Clinic Visit Is Needed

Not all examinations, treatments and procedures can be performed at home. If your pet needs further testing, treatment or equipment that isn't available during a home visit, we may recommend an appointment at our clinic.
